terms of service
acceptance
by using squelch (squelch.fm), you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the service.
the service
squelch provides peer-to-peer voice communication over the internet. we provide the signaling infrastructure that helps peers find each other and a relay server for connections that can't be made directly. the actual voice data travels between users, not through us.
your account
you're responsible for your account and your callsign. one account per person. don't share your credentials. callsigns are permanent and unique — once assigned, they can't be transferred.
acceptable use
don't use squelch for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive. don't harass other users. don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer the infrastructure, or abuse the relay server. we reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
no warranty
squelch is provided as-is. we don't guarantee uptime, audio quality, or that connections will always work. peer-to-peer connections depend on network conditions outside our control.
limitation of liability
squelch is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. since voice data is peer-to-peer, we have no control over or responsibility for the content of communications between users.
changes
we may update these terms. continued use of squelch after changes constitutes acceptance. check this page periodically.
